1 small bottle of Prego Fresh Mushroom Italian Sauce
1 can of button mushroom, sliced thinly
250 g ground beef
Garlic, onion and tomato, finely chopped
Salt, white sugar and ground pepper to taste
1 can of pineapple chunks, cut into 2 each
Bell pepper (green, red & yellow), sliced thinly
6 bacon strips, cut into 6 each
Ham, cut into small cubes
100g mozzarella cheese, grated
Extra Equipment:Cling wrap, rolling pin, 3 baking sheets
Directions:1. In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast with the warm water. Check the temperature of the water by putting your finger into it. It should feel just warm, but not hot. Let it stand for 10 minutes.
2. In a mixing bowl, put the flour, and salt and mix well. Make a well in the middle and pour the yeast & water mixture, add the olive oil.
3. Stir together to make soft dough.
4. Sprinkle a little flour over your work surface, and then put the dough on top. Sprinkle a little more flour on top of the dough and knead it for about 10 minutes until it is smooth and elastic. If the dough is sticky, continue sprinkling on a little more flour as you work.
5. Wash your hands, and then rub a little oil inside a clean bowl. Put the dough inside and pat your oily hands on the dough to make that oily, too. Cover the bowl with cling wrap and put it in a warm place for 1 hour until it has doubled in size.
6.
Sauce Preparation: 7. In a sauce pan, sauté garlic, onion and tomato. Add in the ground beef, button mushroom and the Prego Fresh Mushroom Italian Sauce. Stir. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes.
8. Add salt, sugar and pepper to taste. Simmer for another 2 minutes and set aside.
9. About 5 minutes before the end of rising time, preheat the oven to 200 degrees C.
10. Sprinkle a little flour onto the work surface and tip the dough on top. Press down on the dough to get rid of some of the air. Cut the dough into 3 equal pieces. Using a rolling pin, roll each piece into a 15-cm round.
11. Arrange the rounds on baking sheets. Spread the pre-cooked pizza sauce on top of each pizza.
12. Add on top the pineapple, bell pepper, ham and bacon.
13. Sprinkle cheese on top of each pizza.
